A list of some of our favourite playgrounds that are within reasonable distance if you live in inner Melbourne north of the city

Diamond Valley Railway Park
The main attraction of this playground is probably the miniature railway, which operates most Sundays 11am to 5pm.
Main Rd in Eltham
Hays Paddock is the grand pinnacle of playgrounds; they simply don't come better than this.
Longstaff Street in Kew East
Fanatastic playground for all ages - 3 flying foxes (one with toodler strap), a pendulum swing, big climbing frame, great under cover BBQ area and toi.
Oriel Rd in Heidelberg West
The new playground at Jones Park is an absolute treat for children and adults alike.
