Bicentennial Park - Giant Slide Park
Playground added by Anna, December 7, 2004
This playground is fenced, has toilets, is suitable for toddlers, has sun shade, is suitable for all abilities, has seats, has tables, has a BBQ, has car parking, is near a bikepath, has a Fun theme, and has the following special equipment "Giant slide "
Wow, just got home from a brilliant day at this park, my kids have decided it's their new favourite park!
Endless things to do here, many things we have never seen before at other playgrounds such as the quirky smurfs village!
There is also an outdoor gym set up. Plenty of room for ball games. Loads of picnic tables both shaded and unshaded. Toilet facillities. Bbqs. etc etc etc
A must to visit great for children of all ages :).

They are nearing the end of remodelling the whole park. The slides have remained but they have added a "fairy" garden, some small cottages with different things in each, a sand pit with diggers, some raised sandpits for children in wheelchairs and also a swing for children in wheelchairs. Still plenty BBQs (they weren't yet turned on when we went last week) Some of the original play equipment has remained but been moved. New toilets (again not opened last week) but they do have portables at the moment.
At this point there is shade from trees which covers some of the park, there are also couple of shaded structures over BBQ and another 1 in middle of park but doesn't seem to be alot of shade over the play equipment. Hopefully they will be putting some up with the refurbishment. Hopefully I will be able to post some new photos soon.
