This playground is fenced, has toilets, is suitable for toddlers, has sun shade, is suitable for all abilities, has seats, has tables, has a BBQ, has car parking, is near a bikepath, and has the following special equipment "Wheelchair-accessible play boat Liberty Swing"
I have heard this park is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, and I wouldn't be surprised! It is absolutely fantastic, with something for everyone. The bike track within the park is great for little kids to learn to ride, and learn basic road rules. Also easy access to the bike track around Lake Macquarie. My only negative comment is the amount of vandalism that occurs at the park, which is very disappointing to see. Every time I go there something else seems to be broken (often fence panels around the park) - I wish those people would stop ruining things for everyone else! But saying that, I drive an hour to take my son to this park as we both love it! Very busy on the weekends though - we stick to midweek.

This is a remarkable playground suiting all ages and abilites. It is fenced, but very large, if you have small children they will need constant following. There is also a waterplay area with alot of water! A change of clothes or swimmers will be nescessary if kids discover this area. The bike area is great. A flying fox,and a very tall climbing stucture and slide will keep older kids (and adults) happy too. This playground gets very busy in the middle of the day. To avoid crowds go before 10am or after 5pm.
